Infraestructura de clave pública en una universidad del Paraguay

Abstract

This document presents a comparative analysis among open source software packages with the largest number of references for PKI management, which ultimately results in the use of EJBCA as the solution for the case of study: the Catholic University of Asuncion. The implementation of the selected tool presents different problems, which derive mainly from the intrinsic nature of the EJBCA architecture, since the application integrates the functions of registration and emission of certificates. For this reason, this work proposes and implements the separation of such functions through the construction of a registering application, which is capable of integrating itself with EJBCA, providing a more general PKI solution. Finally, the implementation of a new general solution is presented for the Catholic University of Asuncion.
