Estrés académico en los estudiantes del 4to año de secundaria del Colegio Trilce Maranga, del distrito de San Miguel-periodo 2018

Abstract

La presente investigación tiene como objetivo determinar el nivel de estrés académico en los estudiantes del 4to año de secundaria del Colegio Trilce Maranga en el distrito de San Miguel, periodo 2018. Este estudio de investigación es tipo descriptiva, de nivel básico con un enfoque cuantitativo según el manejo de los datos. El diseño de esta investigación es no experimental de corte transversal. La población está conformada por 70 estudiantes del 4to año de secundaria, la muestra fue censal por la reducida cantidad de participantes. La técnica empleada para la recolección de datos fue la encuesta y el instrumento que se utilizó fue el Inventario SISCO de estrés académico, lo cual evalúa tres dimensiones: estresores, síntomas y estrategias de afrontamiento. Los resultados obtenidos demostraron que en la dimensión estresores se registra un nivel alto con un 39%, en la dimensión síntomas (físicos, psicológicos y comportamentales) existe un nivel moderado en un 51% y por último en la dimensión de estrategias de afrontamiento existe un nivel moderado con un 40%. La conclusión de esta investigación fue que el estrés académico en los estudiantes del 4to año de secundaria del Colegio Trilce Maranga es moderado en un 63% según muestran las dimensiones de la variable estudiada, producto que pueden presentar varios síntomas y un escaso uso de estrategias.

The present investigation has an objective to determine the level of academic stress in the students of the 4th year of secondary of the Trilce Maranga School in the district of San Miguel, Period 2018. This research study is descriptive type, of basic level with a quantitative approach according to the handling of the data. The design of this research is non-experimental cross-sectional. The population is conformed of 70 students from the 4th year of secondary; the sample was census for the reduced quantity of participants. The technique used to data collection was the survey and the instrument that was used was the SISCO inventory of academic stress, which evaluates three dimensions: Stressors, symptoms and coping strategies The obtained results showed that the stressors dimension is recorded a high level with a 39%, in the dimension symptoms (physical, psychological and behavioral) exist a moderate level in 51% and by last in the dimension of coping strategies there is a moderate level with a 40%. The conclusion of this research was that the academic stress in the students of the 4th year of secondary school Trilce Maranga is moderate in 63% as shown by the dimensions of the variable studied, a product that may present several symptoms and a scarce Use of strategies.
