Asociación entre el tipo de diversidad funcional y el índice de higiene oral en un centro de educación básica especial en el año 2018

Abstract

El objetivo de la presente investigación fue determinar la asociación del tipo de diversidad funcional y el índice de higiene oral de los estudiantes del Centro de Educación Básica Especial ¨C.E.B.E Beato Edmundo Rice N°12¨ en el año 2018. El diseño metodológico fue descriptivo, el tipo de investigación fue transversal, de relación y prospectivo, y el enfoque cuantitativo. Para cumplir con el objetivo general del estudio, se utilizó una muestra conformada por 92 personas entre niños y adolescentes del Centro de Educación Básica Especial.

The objective of the present investigation was to determine the association of the type of functional diversity and the oral hygiene index of the students of the Special Basic Education Center ¨C.E.B.E Beato Edmundo Rice No. 12¨ in the year 2018. The methodological design was descriptive, the type of research was transversal, relationship and prospective, and the quantitative approach. In order to comply with the general objective of the study, we used a sample made up of 92 people among children and adolescents of the Special Basic Education Center, selected non-randomly for convenience.
