Autoestima en estudiantes del segundo grado de educación secundaria de la institución educativa N° 5082 Sarita Colonia del Callao

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar los niveles de autoestima que presentan los estudiantes del segundo grado de educación secundaria de la Institución Educativa N° 5082 Sarita Colonia del Callao, explorando los factores que afectan el desarrollo de la autoestima en sus diferentes dimensiones, durante esta etapa de vida. La investigación es de tipo descriptivo y estuvo conformada por una muestra de 54 estudiantes del segundo de grado de educación secundaria de la mencionada institución. El instrumento aplicado fue el Inventario de Autoestima Forma Escolar de Coopersmith (1967) adaptado por Llerena (1995). Entre las conclusiones se halló que un 53.7% (29) de los estudiantes del segundo grado de secundaria presentaron una autoestima en su nivel general con un promedio alto, un 24.1% (13) de ellos con una alta autoestima y un 22.2% (12) de dichos estudiantes un promedio bajo.

The objective of this research was to determine the levels of self-esteem presented by secondary school students of the Educational Institution N ° 5082 Sarita Colonia del Callao, exploring the factors that affect the development of self-esteem in its different sizes, during this period. life stage. The research was descriptive and consisted of a sample of 54 students of the second grade of secondary education of the aforementioned institution. The instrument applied was Coopersmith's School Form Self-Esteem Inventory (1967) adapted by Llerena (1995). Among the conclusions it was found that 53.7% (29) of the students in the second grade of secondary school showed self-esteem at their general level with a high average, 24.1% (13) of them with high self-esteem and 22.2% (12) of the student students a low average.
