Este trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo general determinar el efecto anti fúngico del extracto hidroalcohólico de las hojas de Petiveria alliacea L. (Mucura) frente a cepas de Cándida albicans, in vitro. Este estudio pertenece a un diseño experimental. Para la realización se necesitó extracto hidroalcohólico de hojas de Petiveria alliacea L. The general objective of this research was to determine the antifungal effect of the hydroalcoholic extract of the leaves of Petiveria alliacea L. (Mucura) against strains of Candida albicans, in vitro. This study belongs to an experimental design. For the realization, hydroalcoholic extract of Petiveria alliacea L. leaves was needed. The technique used was an observation sheet for the collection of information. Likewise, phytochemical screnning, UV Vis spectrophotometry test for total flavonoids and thin layer chromatography test were used. Results: the effect of the hydroalcoholic extract of Petiveria alliacea L.
