Para el desarrollo de la evaluación microbiológica se utilizó el método de difusión en disco en el cual se usó el extracto etanólico de Rosmarinus officinalis.L (Romero) a tres niveles de concentración en 3 placas petri que contienen las cepas de Staphylococcus aureus de acuerdo con el procedimiento del manual de técnicas de investigación de National Committeefor Clinical Laboratory Standars (NCCLS) y 2 placas de controles de amoxicilina base como control positivo y alcohol de 70º como control negativo. The present investigation was carried out in order to determine the probable pharmacological effect: Antibacterial effect of the ethanolic extract of stems of Rosmarinus officinalis.L (Romero) in cultures of Sthaphylococcus aureus in vitro study. For the development of the microbiological evaluation the disc diffusion method was used in which the ethanolic extract of Rosmarinus officinalis.L (Romero) was used at three levels of concentration in 3 petri dishes containing Staphyloccus aureus strains according to the procedure of the manual of techniques of investigation of National Committee for Clinical Laboratory Standars (NCCLS) and 2 plates of controls of amoxicilina base like positive control and alcohol of 70º like negative control.
