Conductos radiculares de las primeras premolares mandibulares evaluadas mediante el uso de la tomografía cone beam

Abstract

El objetivo de la presente investigación fue evaluar los conductos radiculares de las primeras premolares mandibulares mediante el uso de la Tomografía Cone Beam, en el Instituto de Diagnóstico Maxilofacial de la ciudad de Lima en el año 2017. El diseño del estudio fue descriptivo, el tipo de estudio fue retrospectivo y transversal. El instrumento utilizado fue una ficha de recolección de datos diseñado por el autor para los fines del estudio. Para el cumplimiento con el objetivo propuesto en la investigación, se utilizó una muestra de 80 imágenes tomográficas de los pacientes que acudieron a dicho centro de diagnósticos por imágenes, los cuales fueron escogidos en forma no aleatoria por conveniencia y que cumplieron con los criterios de selección, que se planteó en el estudio.

The objective of the present investigation was to evaluate the root canals of the first mandibular premolars through the use of the Cone Beam Tomography at the Maxillofacial Diagnostic Institute of the city of Lima, 2017. The study design was descriptive, the type of study It was retrospective and transversal. In order to comply with the objective proposed in the research, a sample of 80 tomographic images of the patients who went to this center for diagnostic imaging were used, which were chosen in a non-random manner for convenience and that met the selection criteria, ,which was raised in the study.
