Estrategias de afrontamiento en estudiantes del 6to grado de primaria de la institución educativa emblemática José María Eguren del distrito de Barranco – Lima 2017

Abstract

La presente investigación es de tipo aplicada, se utilizó el diseño no experimental de corte transversal y nivel descriptivo; el objetivo general es determinar las Estrategias de Afrontamiento en estudiantes del 6to grado de primaria en la Institución Educativa Emblemática José María Eguren del Distrito de Barranco, Lima 2018. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 69 estudiantes, 29 mujeres y 40 hombres entre las edades de 12 y 13 años. El instrumento que se utilizó fue la Escala de Afrontamiento para Adolescentes (ACS) previamente adaptada a la población peruana (Canessa, 2000) con la validez y confiabilidad correspondiente. Durante el periodo de investigación se evidencia que el 63,77% presentan nivel Alto, el 5,80% muestra nivel Medio y el 30,43% de alumnos poseen nivel bajo en estrategias de afrontamiento. Estos resultados sustentan la elaboración del programa de intervención que estuvo desarrollada por 6 sesiones para el cambio de los criterios en el afrontamiento de problemas.

The present investigation is of applied type, the non-experimental cross-sectional and descriptive level design was used; The general objective is to determine the Coping Strategies in 6th grade students of the José María Eguren Emblematic Educational Institution of the District of Barranco, Lima 2018. The sample consisted of 69 students, 29 women and 40 men between the ages of 12 and 13 years. The instrument used was the Coping Scale for Adolescents (ACS) previously adapted to the Peruvian population (Canessa, 2000) with the corresponding validity and reliability. During the research period it is evident that 63.77% have a high level, 5.80% have a medium level and 30.43% have low level of coping strategies. These results support the elaboration of the intervention program that was developed by 6 sessions for the change of the criteria in the confrontation of problems
