Abstract

El estudio tiene como objetivo determinar el efecto antibacteriano in vitro de la miel de abeja (Apis mellifera) de origen multifloral frente a la cepa de Streptococcus pneumoniae ATCC 49619. Para determinar la actividad antibacteriana se utilizó el método de pozos en agar modificado y el método de Kirby-Bauer, se obtuvo miel de abeja multifloral procedente del distrito de Lurín, Lima – Perú; y se realizó las diluciones para obtener concentraciones de 25%, 50% y 75% en discos de papel filtro
