Factores de riesgo y la adherencia al tratamiento antihipertensivo en adultos socios del club regatas lima durante el primer semestre 2017

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre los factores de riesgo y la adherencia al tratamiento antihipertensivo en adultos socios del Club Regatas Lima durante el semestre del 2017. El método que se utilizó fue descriptivo puesto que asocia la relación entre dos o más variables observadas en la realidad, el diseño de la investigación fue correlacional de corte transversal, de tipo cuantitativa. La muestra de estudio estuvo conformada por 50 adultos socios del Club Regatas. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó como técnica la encuesta y como instrumento el cuestionario, la cual obtuvo una confiabilidad alta de 0,836 y 0,850 en al Alfa de Cronbach. Los resultados arrojaron que el 32% de los pacientes presentan un nivel alto de factores de riesgo, el 42% presentan un nivel medio y un 26% un nivel bajo, también se evidencia que el 32% de los pacientes presentan un nivel alto de adherencia al tratamiento antihipertensivo, el 44% presentan un nivel medio y un 24% un nivel bajo. Se concluyó que la variable factores de riesgo está relacionada directa y positivamente con la variable adherencia al tratamiento antihipertensivo, según la correlación de Spearman de 0.578 representado este resultado como moderado con una significancia estadística de p=0.001 siendo menor que el 0.01. Por lo tanto, se aceptó la hipótesis principal y se rechazó la hipótesis nula. Se recomendó evaluar la adherencia rutinariamente e individualizar el tratamiento, adaptándolo en lo posible a las actividades diarias del paciente, a su cultura y entorno familiar. Así como, facilitar consejos en la consulta médica, a través, de información básica con lenguaje sencillo y fácilmente comprensible

The present investigation have had as an objective to determine the relationship between risk factors and adherence to antihypertensive treatment in adult who are members of Club Regatas Lima during the semester of 2017. The method used was descriptive since it associates to the relationship between two or more variables observed in reality, the design of the research was cross-sectional correlation, quantitative type. In addition, the study sample consisted of 50 adult members of Club Regatas. For data collection it was used as technique the survey and as an instrument the questionnaire which it have obtained a high reliability of 0.836 and 0.850 in the Cronbach Alpha. The results showed that the 32% of the patients have a high level of risk factor, the 42% have a medium level and the 26% a bad level. Also, it is evident that the 32% of the patients have a high level of adherence to antihypertensive treatment, 44% present a medium level and the 24% a bad level. It is because it is concluded that the variable of risk factor is directly and positively related with the variable of adherence to antihypertensive treatment, additionally, according to the Spearman correlation of 0.578 that represent the result as moderate with statistical significance of p = 0.001 being less than 0.01. Therefore, the main hypothesis was accepted and the null hypothesis was rejected, also it was recommended to evaluate the adherence routinely and to individualize the treatment, adapting as much as possible to the daily activities of the patient, their culture and family environment.
