Los niveles de educación y empleo del jefe del hogar en el nivel de pobreza de las familias del pueblo joven Alberto Fujimori de la ciudad de Tingo María

Abstract

El objetivo general del estudio consiste en evaluar la influencia de los niveles de educación y empleo del jefe del hogar sobre el nivel de pobreza de las familias del pueblo joven “Alberto Fujimori”, ubicado en la margen derecha del río Huallaga, al norte de la ciudad de Tingo María. La investigación se desarrolló haciendo uso del método ex post facto, dado que se estudiaron las variables cuando sus manifestaciones ya han ocurrido y no hubo manipuleo de variables por parte del investigador. Los datos utilizados en la investigación provienen de fuente primaria y fueron recogidas mediante la técnica de la encuesta, cuyo instrumento fue validado previamente por expertos. El diseño muestral aplicado para el levantamiento de la información, corresponde a un diseño probabilístico en dos etapas, en cuya primera se seleccionaron aleatoriamente las unidades de muestreo (manzanas) y en la segunda, un total de 90 viviendas a ser encuestadas. El modelo econométrico de elección binaria seleccionado para contrastar la hipótesis de investigación, corresponde al modelo de valores extremos tipo Gompit, con el cual se llegó a probar que, tanto los años de escolaridad (indicador del nivel de educación), como el régimen de empleo y la condición o naturaleza del empleo (indicadores del nivel de empleo) del jefe del hogar, influyen en forma significativa e inversamente proporcional sobre la probabilidad de pobreza de los hogares del área de estudio

The general objective of the study is to evaluate the influence of the levels of education and employment of the head of household on the poverty level of the families of the "Alberto Fujimori" young people, located on the right bank of the Huallaga River, north of the City of Tingo María. The research was developed using the ex post facto method, since the variables were studied when their manifestations have already occurred and there was no manipulation of variables by the researcher. The data used in the research come from a primary source and were collected using the survey technique, the instrument of which was previously validated by experts. The sampling design applied for the information survey corresponds to a two-stage probabilistic design, in which the sampling units (apples) were randomly selected and in the second, a total of 90 houses to be surveyed. The binary-choice econometric model selected to contrast the research hypothesis corresponds to the Gompit-type extreme value model, with which it was proved that both the years of schooling (indicator of education level) and the employment regime and the employment status or nature (employment level indicators) of the head of the household have a significant and inversely proportional influence on the poverty probability of the households in the study area
