Niveles de depresión en pacientes adultos mayores que asisten al centro de salud Ventanilla - alta

Abstract

En la actualidad se han realizado pocas investigaciones de depresión en adultos mayores , por ello surge la necesidad de realizar el presente estudio titulado niveles de depresión en pacientes adultos mayores que asisten al Centro de Salud Ventanilla Alta , el tipo de estudio es aplicado, de enfoque cuantitativo nivel descriptivo, con diseño no experimental de corte transversal, se consideró como objetivo general determinar los niveles de depresión en adultos mayores que asisten al Centro de Salud Ventanilla Alta, la muestra es de tipo intencional compuesta por 41 pacientes adultos mayores, que asisten al servicio de Psicología en el mes de Abril , para la presente investigación se utilizó la escala geriátrica de Yesavage de 30 ítems valida en Trujillo –Perú por Fernández, Lizbeth. Se concluyó que el total de la muestra el 41% no tiene depresión, mientras que el 49% tiene nivel moderado y finalmente el 10% tiene nivel severo de depresión, en cuanto a las dimensiones, cognitiva, conductual y afectiva, se observó que la dimensión conductual y afectiva, obtuvieron niveles altos con 42% y 74% respectivamente, en tanto la dimensión cognitiva presentó un nivel promedio significativo con 39% respectivamente

At the present time there has been little research of depression in older adults , therefore arises the need for the present study entitled levels of depression in elderly patients attending the Health Center Window , the type of study is applied, quantitative approach the descriptive level, with non-experimental design, cross-sectional study, it was considered as a general objective to determine the levels of depression in older adults attending the Health Center High Window, the sample is intentional composed of 41 elderly patients, who attend the psychology service in the month of April , for the present investigation was used Yesavage Geriatric scale of 30 items valid in Trujillo - Peru Fernández, Lizbeth.
