Estilos de aprendizaje en estudiantes del curso de cálculo de una universidad particular del distrito Santiago de Surco- Lima, 2017

Abstract

La presente investigación pretende comprobar los estilos de aprendizaje en estudiantes del curso de cálculo de una universidad particular del distrito Santiago de Surco- Lima, 2017, con un estudio de tipo cuantitativo, descriptivo, transversal, donde la muestra censal estuvo constituida por 80 estudiantes, de los cuales 34 fueron mujeres y 46 varones, pertenecientes a tres facultades: Ingeniería, Economía y Negocios Internacionales y Administración. Siendo el instrumento utilizado el Cuestionario de Honey y Alonso de Estilos de Aprendizaje. El estudio comprobó que el estilo de aprendizaje predominante en el total de la muestra, es el reflexivo; mientras que, según el género, los varones presentan predominancia hacia el estilo teórico y las mujeres hacia el estilo reflexivo. En el caso de los estudiantes de la facultad de Ingeniería, los estilos predominantes son el teórico y reflexivo, para Administración es pragmático, mientras Economía y Negocios Internacionales, estilo reflexivo.

The present research aims to verify the learning styles in students of the course of calculation of a private university in the district of Santiago de Surco-Lima, 2017, with a quantitative, descriptive, transversal study, where the census sample consisted of 80 students, of which 34 were women and 46 men, belonging to three faculties: Engineering, Economics and International Business and Administration. Being the instrument used the Questionnaire of Honey and Alonso of Learning Styles. The study found that the predominant learning style in the total sample is the reflexive; whereas, according to gender, males show predominance towards the theoretical style and women towards the reflexive style. In the case of the students of the Engineering faculty, the predominant style is the theoretical and reflexive, for Administration is pragmatic, while Economics and International Business is the reflexive style.
